‘Opalesence’ Phlox is the flagship variety of the Luminary ™ collection and the new gold standard of powdery mildew resistance. Summer Phlox are a favorite in the garden, but often are plagued by powdery mildew in hot, humid conditions. In an extensive mildew trial, this was the very best variety to display resistance. Large clusters of light pink flowers with dark pink eyes bloom abundantly over dark green leaves; the darkest green we’ve seen on a Phlox paniculata.
