Raspberry Cupcake Rose
Rosa hybrida Raspberry Cupcake ‘KORcarmsis’ PP33,406
Kordes in Germany and introduced by Star® Roses and Plants
Raspberry Cupcake produces strongly fragrant pink to purple-colored double blooms on vigorous bushy plants. It will begin blooming in late spring and will rebloom all the way through the first frost. It performs best when planted in a location receiving at least six hours of sunlight per day. This variety is vigorous on its own roots and will grow up to 4 1/2′ in height and works best in a garden setting situated toward the middle of a border. Raspberry Cupcake has improved disease resistance for a Hybrid Tea Rose against black spot, mildew, and rust, particularly in hot and humid climates. The strong and consistent fragrance of this variety is a key feature and an improvement in this class of roses.
