Discovered and identified by Tony Campranan on December 26, 2018, as a naturally occurring mutation on a single tree within a crop of 1,195 same-age 3-year-old rooted cutting clones of a parent tree. Introduced by Iseli Nursery.
This sport of ‘Green Giant’ grows half as fast as its parent while maintaining a far narrower silhouette, making it an ideal option for privacy screening where rapid coverage is needed. Clad in feathery sprays of lush green, fragrant foliage, this Green Screen™ has an elegantly slender form that tapers to a spirelike tip without pruning. Grows to 3 feet wide by 10 feet tall. Hardy to zones 5–8.
