Dr. Vance Almquist is a soil scientist, researcher, and president of the Oregon Society of Soil Scientists. His research focuses on improving socioecological exchange by developing novel algorithms, models, and experiments through interdisciplinary synthesis. He has been employed as a researcher/developer with leading universities, internationally recognized NGO’s, and federal agencies.
