Aaron Palmateer, Ph.D., is a director of horticulture at Harrell’s, LLC where he began working in August 2022. Palmateer has worked in the horticulture industry for over 20 years with his career starting as a faculty member in the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Florida where he is currently a Courtesy professor at the Tropical Research and Education Center. His expertise lies heavily in plant diagnostics and managing plant pests, diseases, and disorders. He is responsible for investigating new product opportunities, proprietary product development and providing technical sales support for the horticulture business at Harrell’s.
