Big Blue Salvia
Salvia longispicata × farinacea ‘PAS126577’
Bred and introduced by PanAmerican Seed.
Big Blue Salvia is a vigorous flowering annual in an inspiring clear-blue color — a big beauty that will pump up midsummer landscapes. It is an inter specific, the first of its type from seed! It is super easy to grow and super showy for both commercial landscapes and home garden design. Perfect for back of- border plantings, Big Blue sends out blue spires continuously from July to first frost with little to no extra care. It is a great performer in heat and low-water conditions, and a low maintenance plant that does not need deadheading. Best in full sun but will tolerate dappled shade or partial sun locations. It grows 24–36 inches high and 18–20 inches wide, attracting bees, hummingbirds and other pollinators.
Available as seeds or plugs from Ball Seed (Booth 5043).
