Funshine™ Abelia offers richly saturated new growth in tones of bright marmalade-orange and caramel all season long. Lavender purple blooms pepper the branches all summer with characteristic
fragrance. Funshine™ has a neat, rounded habit and requires minimal pruning in early spring. Long blooming and deer resistant, it is best used as a specimen plant, in mixed borders and in foundation plantings. Reaches heights of 2–3 feet tall and wide. Thanks to an improved, neater habit, Funshine™ needs less pruning in production than other A. × grandiflora varieties. This semi-evergreen shrub also offers deeper color than Bronze Anniversary abelia, which it replaces in the Proven Winners® ColorChoice® line. Plant in sun or partial shade. Tolerates cold down to -10 F (-23 C). Hardy to Zones 6–9.
