Vascular streak dieback (VSD) is an emerging disease affecting woody ornamentals in several regions of the United States and has raised concern for nursery production systems. Increased awareness is essential for early detection and prevention in the Pacific Northwest. This session will review key symptoms, disease biology, host range, and environmental conditions that favor infection. Practical management considerations will be discussed to help growers recognize symptoms early, reduce risk, and protect plant health in nursery operations.
