Montana Gold hemp fiber mulch mats inhibit weed growth, retain moisture, insulate soil and protect roots, giving plants the best chance for growth success. These 100% natural mats are made with industrial hemp fiber in a mechanical needle punch nonwoven process without any adhesives, binders or chemicals. Hemp fiber mats stabilize soil moisture and temperature while blocking sunlight and naturally break down into topsoil enriching mulch compost over time. This product is offered in multiple common sizes to fit specific use, such as 24” and 26” round tree rings and smaller 12” planter rounds and garden squares. Mats are slit to center for quick and easy installation around your plant stems and the larger tree rings additionally have a center round cutout for the trunk.
