Sue Goetz is an award-winning garden designer, educator, and writer based in the Pacific Northwest. Known for her thoughtful, plant-forward approach, she creates resilient, beautiful gardens that balance ecology, sustainability and design. Sue is a sought-after speaker who engages audiences on plants, sustainable landscapes, and the art of gardening, sharing practical inspiration rooted in real gardens.

A published author, she is especially passionate about herb gardening and has written The Complete Container Herb Gardening, A Taste for Herbs, and The Herb-Lover’s Spa Book. Writing and speaking are her favorite ways to share her love of gardening. Her motto, “inspiring gardeners to create,” reflects her hands-on workshops, how-to guidance, and talks that encourage creativity both in and out of the garden.

Sue is a certified professional horticulturist (CPH) with the Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association (WSNLA) and is also ecoPRO Certified.
