Blue by You Salvia

Salvia hybrida ‘Blue By You’ USPPAF, EU PBRAF

Bred and introduced by Darwin Perennials.

This beautiful, vibrant blue salvia will repeat blooming several times during the growing season. In trials, we’ve seen ‘Blue by You’ have up to five full re-flushes. A hybrid between Salvia nemorosa and Salvia pratensis, it has excellent flower power, with long spikes on an excellent, well-branched habit. It is also a sterile hybrid, allowing for much longer shelf life than commercial comparisons. Its long flower spikes attract bees and tolerate frost and heat. Bloom months are March to September. Grows to 20–22 inches tall and 18–22 inches wide. Zones 4b–9a.
