Three vibrant colors in the series — Embers, Golden and Yellow — stand out in the landscape and at retail. These stunning summer-into-fall garden flowers’ drought and heat tolerance hold up to the weather. Other heleniums on the market will often fall apart and split in heavy rains or storms. Salud™ holds its shape in extreme weather and has an excellent mounded habit. Bloom months are July to September, which is perfect timing to catch late summer and fall sales. Helenium plants attract bees and butterflies, but are typically resistant to deer and rabbits. Wellbranched
and compact in size, they also look great in containers. Salud™ needs long days to flower, but requires no vernalization or bulking for flowering first year. Reaches a mature height 14–16 inches, with a spread of 12–14 inches. Hardy in Zones 4a–9a.
