Double Play Doozie® Spirea is a groundbreaking, non-invasive spirea. Its lack of seed also means it is a perpetual bloomer, putting all its energy into creating wave after wave of red-pink flowers from early summer through frost. No deadheading required! Naturally grows as a neat mound. Plant in sun or partial shade. Use for mass plantings, foundations, edging and flower beds. Adaptable to well-drained soils and seldom needs pruning; trim after flowering for a flush of colorful new growth. Hardy down to -40 F (-40 C). Zones 3–8.
