Big, long-flowering, dark red bottleblush plumes over mounds of rich green arching blades. Great accent in full-sun borders. Bred to be infertile, this variety will not self-sow. Very hardy with no serious disease or pest problems. Unlike some Pennisetum varieties, Cayenne™ will not self-sow and become invasive. It is also exceptionally long-blooming, with dark red flowers.
