This is a joint session with ODA and ODF. The ODA’s Insect Pest Prevention and Management Program will present on current research being conducted to address Oregon’s emerald ash borer (EAB) infestation. The ODA’s Nursery Program would review regulations regarding movement of host plants; how to obtain a compliance agreement so that nurseries can ship; and which states have restrictions for hosts coming from EAB quarantined areas. The ODF’s EAB Support Specialists will present an update on the EAB infestations in Washington, Yamhill, Marion, and Clackamas counties; share the new website and resources that track the infestation; and provide management options for ash trees.
