Carlos E. Bográn

Carlos is technical manager at OHP Inc., where he leads their insecticide and fungicide research and development efforts. He has been involved in agricultural research and education for more than 20 years. Between 2001 and 2012 he was assistant and then associate professor and extension specialist at Texas A&M AgriLife, were he led an extension education and applied research program for the ornamental horticulture industry. He is a past president (2016-17) of the Entomological Society of America Southwestern Branch (ESA) and a past president (2007-08) of the Society of Southwestern Entomologists. He is a member of the American Society of Horticultural Sciences (ASHS) and the American Phytopathological Society (APS). Carlos currently serves as subject editor of the Journal of Integrated Pest Management (ESA) and Arthropod Management Tests (ESA) and consulting editor for plant health of HortTechnology (ASHS).
