Dr. Mike Amaranthus has authored or co-authored over 125 published scientific papers, three books, and was the recipient of the USDA Highest Honors award.  He has several mushrooms and truffles named in his honor. He is a retired research soil scientist for the USDA and former associate adjunct professor at Oregon State University.
