- Blanchet House feeds and provides transitional housing for the homeless in downtown Portland. We also have a work training program at our farm in Carlton. Men in recovery are trained in woodworking, tool safety and design. We facilitate the transformation of each life we touch with compassion and dignity. We will be selling our program's hand-crafted, Douglas fir adirondack chairs, flip benches and lawn ornaments at our Farwest Show booth. All products are individually cut, sanded, assembled and Thompson weather sealed.
