Getting to and Around the Farwest Show

Whether by plane, train or automobile, it's easy to find your way to Portland, Oregon, and the Farwest Show. We welcome your visit to "The City of Roses" and the nation's top nursery and greenhouse industry trade show.

Directions

The show takes place at the Oregon Convention Center, located at 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. It's near where two major freeways, I-5 and I-84, converge. The venue is just blocks from Lloyd Center, Oregon's famous shopping mall; the Willamette River and downtown Portland; and the Rose Garden and Memorial Coliseum arenas. Just look for the distinctive twin glass spires to guide you.

Parking

A two-level underground parking garage is available to Farwest Show attendees and exhibitors. This lot includes 800 spaces. There are also a variety of privately operated garages and surface lots within close proximity of the Convention Center. However, the prices charged are not controlled by OCC and may be substantially higher.

Mass Transit

Note: bridge construction during the month of August will require MAX passengers traveling between the east and west sides to be rerouted via bus. Please allow some extra time for transportation during the construction.

For those who don't want or need to deal with parking issues, OCC is conveniently located within walking distance of many fine hotels and is served by both TriMet's MAX light-rail system and bus. The Convention Center is located in MAX's "Fareless Square", which makes it a free ride from the downtown area. It will let you off right at the front door.
